Take part in our online surveys!

Throughout the year we ask local people to share their views on a number of services by completing online surveys. These are a quick and easy way to have your say on the issues that matter to you.

We use the results to help us plan and buy health services for our population of over 550,000 people in west Hampshire.

Everyone Counts

We have to make sure that NHS services meet everyone's needs, including those of minorities and equality groups.  We are sending this survey to individuals, carers and organisations across West Hampshire to find out whether the NHS works for everyone.

We welcome your responses to the questions below.  All information you provide will be treated confidentially.

If you require this survey in another format please contact our Equality and Diversity Manager on 023 8062 2821 or nickbirtley@nhs.net

Andover Health and Wellbeing

West Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is committed to ensuring the right care is delivered at the right time, in the right place, by the right people for the population of Andover.

We are exploring opportunities for creating a health and wellbeing 'hub' on the site of the Andover War Memorial Hospital to relocate Andover Health Centre and add more facilities. This would be a one stop shop for a range of healthcare services.

We would like to hear your views on this idea, please complete the survey here

Annual provider survey

We want to hear about your experience when you or your family last used services at our hospitals in Winchester and Southampton, Bournemouth, Salisbury or Portsmouth, or the health care provided in the community.

All these surveys are anonymous and the information will only be used to help the CCG plan healthcare.

Please complete this if you or a member of your family, a friend or someone you care for has used local healthcare services in the last six months.

Mental health survey

Claire Murdoch, the NHS Senior Responsible Officer for Mental Health, has invited West Hampshire CCG to inform the long term plan about the development of mental health services.

The NHS goal is to deliver world-class mental health care by 2021, which will mean going even further to improve access to high-quality care for our mental health needs, integrate services and focus on improving the outcomes for everyone who uses NHS services.

If you could complete our survey that would help our decisions.

GP referral support

West Hampshire CCG is keen to ensure we provide high quality healthcare for local people, this includes how you are directed to different services.

We would like to hear about patients’ experience of being referred by your GP to a consultant or other health professional in hospital or other health centre. Was it straightforward or could things be improved?

Please answer the survey based on your most recent experience.

Ear wax, cataract and knee pain survey

You may have heard on the national news recently that NHS England plans to limit the number of operations and treatments for some conditions where it is thought to be ‘ineffective or risky’.  Some of these procedures include breast reduction, varicose vein surgery or removal of tonsils.

West Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is also reviewing services such as ear wax removal and cataract and knee surgery. They would be limited to cases where it would make a significant difference to the individual.

We would like to hear what you think about our plans, please complete this survey.
