Healthwatch is the independent patient champion created to gather and represent the views of the public.
It works in Hampshire to:
- Challenge service to improve
- Influence decision-makers to improve local services
- Celebrate the things that go well for patients
- Inform and support people that need help to find the right services for them or need help through the complaints process.
Healthwatch exists in two distinct forms – local Healthwatch and Healthwatch England, at a national level. The aim of local Healthwatch is to give people and communities a stronger voice to influence and challenge how health and social care services are provided within their locality.
Healthwatch wants to hear from you about the services you use. Tell them about the good and the bad things about it and help them to improve services for local communities.
For more information please visit the Hampshire Healthwatch website, where you will find details on how to get in touch with Healthwatch, speak out or become a Healthwatch Champion. Alternatively, you can call them on 01962 440262 or find them at your local Citizens Advice Bureau.
