Talk to mark world mental health day

A specialist GP will be talking about living well with mental health issues as part of a programme of ‘Health Talks’ launched by NHS West Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).

Dr Katrina Webster, the CCG’s Clinical Director for Mental Health and Learning Disabilities, will lead a discussion about:

  • How people with mental health issues can be supported
  • What organisation there are that provide services locally including wellbeing Centres, Italk, Recovery College
  • How people are benefitting from these services.
  • How mental health issues can be prevented and how people can access support services

It takes place at The Wisdom Centrel, Romsey, SO51 8EL on Tuesday 10 October – World Mental Health Day - at 6pm.

The event is part of a series of Health Talks hosted by the CCG during 2017 to share important news about local health and care across its area, which includes Andover, Winchester, Eastleigh, Romsey and the New Forest.
