Find out more about our area and the local people.
NHS West Hampshire CCG is divided into six ‘localities’.

Localities are geographical areas of west Hampshire which have their own GP leads. GP leads feedback local issues from practices to the CCG, through meetings and other events.
There are 48 GP practices within the area, each being a core member of the commissioning group.
These practices are split into six localities to keep a local focus:
Our localities:
- Andover
- Eastleigh North and Test Valley South
- Eastleigh Southern Parishes
- Mid Hampshire
- Totton and Waterside
- West New Forest
Our communities are diverse and the area ranges from Whitchurch in the north to the New Forest in the south, including the areas surrounding Winchester, Romsey and Eastleigh in between. Many of the villages and towns in the north of our area naturally point towards the cities of Basingstoke and Salisbury, in addition to Winchester. The more urban area around Eastleigh is closely linked with the city of Southampton. The towns and villages in the south-west New Forest have connections with Christchurch and Bournemouth.
The people who live in the hamlets, villages, towns and cities in west Hampshire have the opportunity to get involved in the work of our CCG. To find out more, visit our Listening to you pages.
